Overview

Workable is an AI‑powered recruitment platform that allows HR teams to create job offers, screen applicants, and evaluate candidates in an efficient step‑by‑step flow.

Section 1 — Creating a Job Offer

Step 1 Sign Up or Log In
Go to www.workable.com and log in or sign up via email, Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn.
Step 2 Activate Your Account
Click the confirmation link sent to your email.
Step 3 Set Up Your Company Profile
Add company name, website, and description (visible to applicants).
You can edit company details anytime.
Step 4 Create a New Job
Go to the Jobs dashboard → Create a New Job.
Step 5 Enter Basic Job Information
Enter job title and location (on‑site, hybrid, or remote). Workable suggests optimized job titles automatically.
Step 6 Create the Job Description
Include responsibilities, qualifications, skills, benefits, and company info.
  • AI can generate job descriptions automatically.
  • AI salary estimator is available.
Most job boards require ~700 characters minimum.
Step 7 Configure the Application Form
Select required fields (CV, portfolio, cover letter) and add custom questions.
Step 8 Save or Publish the Job
Choose Save as Draft or Publish. Jobs appear on your Workable careers page and job boards.

Section 2 — Screening & Evaluating Applicants

Step 9 Screen Applicants
Filter applicants by date, AI match score, location, tags, ratings, and custom fields.
Step 10 Use AI Screening Assistant
AI analyzes skills, experience, and job requirements.
Step 11 Extraction of Matching Criteria
AI evaluates based on:
  • Education
  • Experience
  • Skills
  • Custom criteria
Step 12 AI Profile Evaluation
AI reviews CV sections (summary, work history, education, skills).
Step 13 Sort Candidates
Use Sort & Filter → Best Match.
Step 14 Candidate Evaluation
Open profile → Scorecard → Add notes.
Step 16 Move or Disqualify
Move candidates through stages or disqualify with a reason.
Step 17 Reporting Tools
Use Candidate Flow & Pipeline Reports and export CSV.
